In order to take appropriate anti-epidemic measures for candidates applying for the Cambridge English examinations during the period of the novel coronavirus, the Centre hereby makes the following statement:

 

With the consideration of the latest arrangements of the Macao Government and Guangdong Province for medical observation of people returning to Zhuhai via the Macau border and some regions have been classified as medium-risk areas. In order to achieve the government’s epidemic prevention requirements, which prevent the increase in imported cases and reduce the risk of mass gatherings contributing to the spread of COVID-19. The primary concern of the centre is the safety and well-being of candidates, parents, staff, and the communities after the discussion with the venue and related departments.

 

Therefore, the centre has decided to postpone all Cambridge English exams which are scheduled on 18-19 December 2021, the exam dates will be re-scheduled on 22-23 January 2022. However, the increase in the number of COVID-19 cases is unforeseeable and unavoidable, depending on the epidemic situation in Macau and the Guangdong Province, if the epidemic situation is not stabilized, the centre has the right to change the examination date and time and will notify candidates accordingly.
